Local roasters represent Wilmington’s Port City Java® at world’s largest coffee-industry conference
WILMINGTON, N.C. April 22, 2009--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Local roasters for the Wilmington-based Port City Java attended the Specialty Coffee Association of America Exposition, the 21st annual gathering for the world’s largest coffee trade association.
Scott McLean, Director of Roasting/Distribution and Kim Cruse, Assistant Roast Master traveled to Atlanta for the three-day event on April 16 to learn more about the newest specialty coffee products on the market and enrich their coffee knowledge by attending lectures and training workshops.
The Specialty Coffee Association of America’s Exposition is the largest annual gathering of coffee professionals in the world, featuring more than 8,000 attendees and 400 exhibitors.
